Transition to Treatment

Is this for me?

Second Chance has no waiting period for outpatient services. So anyone who has decided they are ready to address their substance abuse problem can come into our centers and start treatment that same day.

But what if you’re not “there” yet?  What if you’re not sure you have a problem?  What if you’re not completely sold on the idea that you need treatment?

Is there anything you can do to help decide?

At Second Chance, there’s a lot you can do.

You can come in and talk with us about it.  You can ask any questions you have about drugs, alcohol, addiction, recovery or treatment services.

If you want, you can be informally assessed for a drug or alcohol problem.

We can walk you through a typical treatment plan, showing you how we work with you to figure out what kind and amount of treatment might best fit your needs.

If you’d like, you can talk with some current participants and hear their experience.

You can attend our clean and sober social functions, such as our potluck luncheons and Family Nights, to get a different “feel” for what recovering life looks like.

If you think of something you forgot to ask,  you can call us back 24/7 to talk more.

Admitting you have a problem is the first step to recovery. The next step is finding your way…

Recovery is not a race. You don’t have to feel guilty if it takes you longer than you thought it would.

We’re here to help you figure this out.
